This is a Sanyo TRY prototype, the HC-21. The prototype picture above on the leather tabletop is the NTSC-U version of the system that was cancelled some time after the Summer CES of 1994 due to the difference in markets of Japan and the USA. 54 USA prototype samples were manufactured according to the sample unit depicted above from an Ebay listing, on bubble-wrap.
The second HC-21 (depicted on hardwood) is one of the final HC-21 systems prototyped before the Japanese exclusive release. The HC-21 units depicted in the last two snippets have currently not been found. Also, locations of the controllers pictured in the same two articles are still currently unknown.
